The media showed former President of the Philippines Joseph Estrada announcing his candidacy for president. He claimed that he consulted some legal luminaries that he can still run because of the dis-positive portion of his pardon does not clearly state that he could not run again.
Opposition candidates and other lawyers, stated that they are just waiting for the filing of his candidacy to question his qualification because it is not timely.
