The legendary health and fitness guru, Jack LaLanne, who helped bring healthy living awareness to the American public, and recognized by many as the founder of the modern physical fitness movement, passed away Sunday afternoon at his home in Morro Bay, California. As a Filipino-American I would always get behind UFC Mixed Martial Arts fighter Brandon “The Truth” Vera similar to how I and many other Filipinos would get behind boxer Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao.
